Edito :
The political events keep the front of the scene. Belgium remains quartered between the Walloons and the Flemings. The fragmented Italian political face was bipolarised between the charismatic figures of Berlusconi and Veltroni. Poland remains divided between the new government pro-European and the reticent presidency with all that could touch national sovereignty. But the economic crisis and international economic and monetary reconfiguration exist without a political indepedency being able to have a real capacity to influence the economy. The dollar does not cease being devaluated, the powers of Asia and Latin America have to play an increasing importance part in world balance while growing old Europe still did not find a capable system post-Bismarkien and post-Beveridgien to maintain a protection system social high without penalizing the classes active with work and without employment and the companies not “expatriables”.
If the European Convention countries seem to be vaccinated against the dictators, the loss speed of the national economies generating a considerable fall of the purchasing power and of capacity of investment and profitability of the local companies are factors not preserving them skids related to the growth of poverty. The losers of the economic growth rely on policies which remain impotent without reforms on local scale, regional, national and European.
